A modern day champion and a boxing legend will be at the Seni 08 show to support a new project.
Wladamir Klitschko, the WBO, IBF and IBO world heavyweight boxing champion, together with former world featherweight champion Barry McGuigan are attending the combat show to back Fight For Peace, the Sun reports.
The social project is aimed at 11 to 21 year olds and wants to get children off the streets and into the gym.
Fight For Peace will open a new academy in North Greenwich offering boxing, martial arts, gym sessions and personal development classes after school and college hours.
Luke Dowdney, project founder, told the newspaper: "I am delighted that Wladimir and Barry are helping to launch Fight for Peace in the UK at Seni 08. Their involvement clearly demonstrates that elite champions can also be concerned with the plight of those less fortunate than themselves."
Mr Dowdney hopes having these two stars at the launch will provide real inspiration to young people who want to be involved in the project.
Seni is Europe's trade exhibition dedicated to martial arts, combat sports and extreme fitness. It features over 200 stands, is visited by thousand of enthusiasts and begins on April 25th at London ExCel in the heart of the Docklands.
