A young martial arts competitor from North London won a gold medal at the Seni martial arts show.
Jack Cronin, from Barnet, was victorious in the Gracie Invitational Brazilian Jujitsu competition held at the world's biggest martial arts exhibition at London's ExCel Arena last weekend, reports the Hendon Times.
The 16-year-old was one of only eight boys from across Europe to be invited to compete in the under-17 category of the Jujitsu competition. He won two bouts on the day to secure the gold medal.
Jack began training at the age of ten at the Steven McDade Academy in Whetstone and became the youngest ever black belt in the club's history at the age of 15.
He then began training the Brazilian Jujitsu discipline which was pioneered by Royce Gracie.
Mr Grace is a former mixed martial arts champion and in the past has trained the US secret service, army rangers and navy seals together with screen greats such as Chuck Norris and Nicholas Cage, according to his personal website.
