A mother and anti-bullying campaigner has launched a new initiative to help youngsters who suffer from the practise.
Bev Powell, who runs the website cruelatschool.co.uk has had 5,000 fliers printed out and ready to distribute, reports thisisgloucestershire.co.uk.
Each flier contains a credit card sized pop-out features the key message of the initiative: don't suffer in silence, stop being afraid and speak out.
Ms Powell spoke to the news site, saying: "The pop-out this will allow the kids to carry them in their wallets and maybe parents may want to carry one too.
"It seems that bullying is on the increase or maybe more children are speaking out about it."
Ms Powell, who works as an operating department practitioner at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, launched the website after her daughter was bullied at school.
The anti-bullying website was backed by local MP Mark Harper last year. He called the site a "great initiative" which offers advice and support to both parents and children.
