A judo competitor from Norfolk has won a medal in the world championships.
Clare Moore came home from the World Masters Judo Championships with a bronze medal, reports the Diss Express.
The 32-year-old was competing in Brussels at the tournament which attracted over 1,500 participants from over 50 nations.
Ms Moore, who trains at Kumo Club in Lopham, told the newspaper that it was "disappointing" that her semi-final performance cost her the chance of progressing further.
"I was very happy to win the bronze but at the same time I should have got to fight for a silver or a gold," she added.
High Wycombe Rugby Club has recently been following in the training methods of the New Zealand All Blacks by training in judo.
The Bucks Free Press reports that almost 40 club members have been learning about "judo conditioning" from black belts at Wycombe Judo Club.
