A mother and daughter have both competed in the same recent martial arts competition.
Kirsty Lardner, 31, and Molly, aged six, both took part in the PUMA English Championships in Swindon reports thisisdorset.co.uk.
Mum Kirsty won a silver and a bronze medal at the Professional Unification of Martial Arts event and daughter Molly fought older competitors and was unlucky to lose out.
Both martial arts enthusiasts train at Integrity Martial Arts in Weymouth and are now looking ahead to November's British Championships.
Kirsty Lardner told the news site that her daughter did "exceptionally well".
"We are incredibly fortunate to have one of the best taekwondo instructors in the country in Mr Malcolm Jones Sixth Dan," she added.
It was recently reported that four brothers from the same family are now black belts in mixed martial arts.
Ross, Scott, Danny and Shane Wilkes all share the honour after the youngest two brothers passed a recent belt grading, Halesowen News reported.
