A five-year-old martial arts enthusiast from Peterborough has qualified to represent Great Britain.
Joshua Hogg, who trains as part of the Tiny Parkers Serial Kickers Club at Mountsteven Avenue Scouts Hut, was one of 12 members of the club to pass a recent examination.
Peterborough Today reports that all of the fighters, aged from five to 42, will now be part of the KTBF Team GB which will fight in competitions around the globe, including the World Championships.
Ian Parker, head of the club, told the newspaper that the members "shed blood, sweat and tears" to qualify for the squad.
"Little Joshua is absolutely phenomenal he has been with me about a year and he has so much potential," he added.
The newspaper also reports that a family of martial arts fans from Boston have been tasting success.
Bill and Sharon Mcleod are both black belts and their children, Aisha, 12, and Imran, 6, have won gold and silver medals respectively in recent tournaments.
