Mansfield club wins 7 world championship golds |

A martial arts club in Mansfield is celebrating after winning seven gold medals at the WOMMA World Games.
Six members of the Zara Pythian Personal Bet Academy in the town are now world champions after their success at the tournament in Ireland.
The Ashfield Chad reports that Jennifer Bagnall won a gold in the weapons category and Steffi Fernandes was also victorious in both the weapons and TKD forms.
Jack Smith and Leah McEwan both won gold in creative forms, with the latter adding a second title in the TKD category.
Finally, Lisa Williams and Kerry Reeve both took first place in their respective sport kickboxing categories.
The club rounded off a successful tournament when Sensei Zara was a Hall of Fame award for International Female Martial Artist and Contribution to the Martial Arts of the year.
Earlier this week, the Northern Echo reported that Tom Beedle from the Northern Tang Soo Do martial arts club won two medals at the association's World Championship in Florida.
